After getting ready, Maria and Rafael moved by boat to reach the picturesque Church of the Santissimo Redentore, designed by architect Andrea Palladio in 1577.

Inside the church, a magnificent floral arrangement further embellished the beauty of the place. After the ceremony, the couple and the guests took a picturesque boat trip back to the beautiful location of the Marriott Hotel's island, where a fabulous setup had been prepared for the cocktail and dinner.
