DANIELA KATIA PHOTOGRAPHY

Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

The data controller is Daniela Katia Photography (Daniela Katia Lefosse). Privacy enquiries and requests may be sent to info@danielakatiaphotography.com.

2. Data processed when you visit the website

The hosting infrastructure may process technical connection data such as IP address, requested resource, date and time, browser and device information, response status and security events. These data are used to deliver the website, prevent abuse, maintain security and diagnose technical faults. The legal basis is the controller’s legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. Contact and wedding enquiries

When you use the contact form, we process the information you provide, including name, email address, optional phone and Instagram account, event type, date, venue or location, message, referral parameters and the page from which the request was sent. The information is used to reply, assess availability, prepare a proposal and take steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Fields marked as required are necessary to handle the enquiry.

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are ordinarily retained for no longer than 24 months. If a contractual relationship follows, relevant records are retained for the periods required by contractual, accounting and legal obligations.

4. Cookies and optional tracking

The website uses necessary first-party cookies for language preferences and consent choices. Optional analytics or marketing tools are loaded only after the relevant consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). At present, Google Tag Manager and analytics tracking are disabled. You may accept, refuse or change optional preferences at any time through the “Cookie preferences” control. Details are available in the Cookie Policy.

5. Recipients and service providers

Personal data may be processed by authorized persons and technical providers used to operate the website, hosting, email and security services, including SiteGround as hosting provider. Providers act under contractual data-protection obligations where required. Data are not sold.

6. International transfers

If a service provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the controller will rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards under Chapter V GDPR, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, where applicable.

7. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability where applicable, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. Requests can be sent to info@danielakatiaphotography.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or the supervisory authority of your habitual residence.

8. Updates

This notice may be updated when processing activities or service providers change. Last updated: 19 June 2026.
