Allegra & Giacomo’s Palazzo Cavalli Wedding in Venice
August 28, 2026 · Venice

From London and New York to Venice
Allegra lives in London, Giacomo in New York. Both are Italian, and they plan to live together in New York. For their Palazzo Cavalli wedding on August 28, 2026, they gathered friends in Venice, a city with a personal connection for Giacomo. A civil ceremony, a shared water taxi ride, portraits at the Salute, and a celebration at Hotel Gabrielli gave the day its route.
A Palazzo Cavalli wedding on the Grand Canal
Allegra and Giacomo gathered with their guests at Palazzo Cavalli for their civil ceremony. They sat side by side, signed the register, and celebrated with the people around them. Guests applauded and embraced them before the couple stepped outside together, with the Grand Canal just beyond the doorway.
After the ceremony, there was more time to spend with friends. They continued through Venice by water taxi before gathering again at Hotel Gabrielli.

Friends on the water, portraits at the Salute
Allegra and Giacomo shared a wooden water taxi with their friends. Glasses were raised and conversations continued on board as they traveled through Venice. The ride kept everyone together between the ceremony at Palazzo Cavalli and the celebration at the hotel.
At the Salute, they stopped for portraits together. They walked, paused on the steps, and shared a kiss before the celebration continued at Hotel Gabrielli.

Hotel Gabrielli, from the garden to the terrace
At Hotel Gabrielli, friends gathered around Allegra and Giacomo for the aperitivo in the garden. There was time for conversation, drinks, and group portraits.
Later, after the storm, Allegra and Giacomo went up to the hotel terrace for portraits together, with Venice and the lagoon around them.

Wedding highlights

Rain, hail, and dancing in the garden
Earlier, during the aperitivo at Gabrielli, rain and hail had swept into the garden. Guests opened umbrellas and gathered beneath the parasols. Allegra and Giacomo kept celebrating and dancing, sharing this unexpected turn in the weather with their friends.
Giacomo danced among friends as the party carried on around him. From their Palazzo Cavalli wedding ceremony to the aperitivo at Gabrielli, the day brought the couple and their guests together across Venice.
